LA PLATA, Md. (March 04, 2010) - The La Plata Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest report.
INTOXICATION, DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On March 2, at approximately 1711 hours, Trooper E. Pusey responded to an accident at Route 225 and Strauss Road. As Trooper Pusey approached a blue Ford Contour he could smell a strong odor of an alcohol beverage emitting from the vehicle. Trooper Pusey observed the driver, Dale Patrick Swann, 50, of La Plata, passed out in the vehicle. Trooper Pusey attempted several times to wake Swann. Mr. Swann was confused and EMS personnel were called to the scene. Swann refused EMS help and became disorderly. Swann was arrested for intoxication and disorderly conduct.
