PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Feb. 10, 2010) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On February 2 at 4:00 p.m., Trooper First Class Saucerman responded to the 4100 block of Chesapeake Avenue in Chesapeake Beach, for a reported theft from a motor vehicle. Unknown suspect(s) removed a Sirius satellite radio system, numerous DVD's, a portable DVD player and Bluetooth earphone from the victim's vehicle.
INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT: On February 2 at 10:37 p.m., Trooper First Class Saucerman responded to Route 4 at Parkers Creek Road in Port Republic, in reference to assisting an injured person. The driver of a SHA snow truck was injured while trying to correct a problem with the salt dump hatch. He was transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital and treated for his injuries.
MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On February 3 at 7:19 p.m., Corporal Bennett responded to the 5900 block of Long Beach Drive in St. Leonard, for a reported malicious destruction of property. The victim reported that his vehicle's front windshield was struck with a large snowball causing approximately $300.00 of damage.
MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On February 4 at 12:00 p.m., Trooper Esnes responded to the 1900 block of Rosemary Lane in Port Republic for a reported malicious destruction of property. The victim reported that while traveling on Rt 231 prior to Hallowing State Park, the passenger in her vehicle tossed her cell phone out of the vehicle. Charges are pending against James E. Jones, 33 of Lusby for malicious destruction of property.
POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On February 7 at 11:30 p.m., Trooper Lewis stopped a vehicle at Rt 4 and Whispering Drive for traffic violations. The driver, Brian K. Holland, Jr., 22 of Hughesville, was found to be in possession of Cocaine. He was arrested and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
