LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Feb. 09, 2010) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) recently released the following incident and arrest reports.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Thursday, February 4 at 8:40 pm, Phillip Michael Parsons, 24, of Mechanicsville was arrested by TFC J. R. Stern on a Bench Warrant (T3-14303) issued by the District Court in Leonardtown for Failing to Appear on January 29. The original charge was Driving on a Suspended License. Mr. Parson's turned himself in at the Leonardtown Barracks and was taken to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, February 5 at 7:45 am, Rick Lee Hawkins, 45, of Lexington Park was arrested by TFC M. B. Adams on a Circuit Court Warrant (T3-14287) issued on January 15. The warrant was issued for Failing to Obey Court Order. The original charge was Driving on a Revoked License. Mr. Hawkins was taken into custody at a residence in the 44000 block of Three Coves Road in Hollywood. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
DRUG ARREST: On Friday, February 5 at 10:00 am, Lloyd Irving Jones, Jr., 49, of Great Mills was arrested by Tpr. B. T. Wiesemann for Possession of CDS Paraphernalia containing Cocaine. Mr. Jones was operating a green Ford Explorer on west bound Great Mills Road in Lexington Park when he was stopped in the parking lot of the A and E Motel for an equipment violation. A routine MVA check revealed Mr. Jones' driving privileges are suspended. Mr. Jones was placed under arrest for Driving on a Suspended License. A search incident to the arrest revealed Mr. Jones was in possession of a silver metal CDS smoking device containing Cocaine. Mr. Jones was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT: On Friday, February 5 at 9:12 pm, Joseph William Young, 54, of Park Hall was arrested by TFC J. A. Pilkerton for Domestic Assault 2nd Degree. TFC Pilkerton responded to the 18000 block of Point Lookout Road in Park Hall for the reported Disturbance. Upon arrival, contact was made with the female victim, 61, of Park Hall who advised she was assaulted by Mr. Young. Contact was made with Mr. Young and he was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. Mr. Young was charged with Assault 2nd Degree and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
