PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Jan. 13, 2010) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) recently released the following incident and arrest reports.
BURGLARY: On January 7 at 10:15 a.m., Trooper First Class Hunt responded to the 2200 block of Wilson Road in Huntingtown for a reported burglary. The home had been entered but nothing was reported stolen.
THEFT: On January 7 at 2:45 p.m., Trooper First Class Laziuck responded to the 3700 block of Elberta Lane in Huntingtown for a report of a stolen Maryland registration plate. The plate was stolen from a vehicle parked at the residence.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE: On January 7 at 9:40 p.m., Trooper Parker responded to the 500 bloc ob Barnacle Lane in Lusby for a report of a motor vehicle theft. The victim reported that a black 1996 Nissan Maxima was stolen from the driveway.
POSSESSION OF HEROIN, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: On January 7 at 4:30 p.m., Trooper Smith stopped a vehicle for traffic violations at the Fox Run Shopping Center in Prince Frederick. Steven G. Strine, 22 of Chesapeake Beach was arrested on an open warrant. Heroin and other drug paraphernalia were found during a search of the vehicle. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On January 9 at 11:17 p.m., Trooper First Class Merkelson responded to the 800 block of West Mt. Harmony Road in Owings for a reported malicious destruction of property. A vehicle was struck with a brick.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On January 10 at 2:00 p.m., Trooper First Class Hunt responded to the 12600 block of Deerfield Road in Lusby for a reported theft from a vehicle. A GPS system was stolen from the vehicle.
