State Police in Calvert Announce DUI Checkpoint May 2-4


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (April 30, 2009)—The State Police, Prince Frederick Barrack, announced they will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint during the weekend of May 2-4 in Calvert County. Police did not release specific times or locations for the checkpoint.

The operation will be conducted in connection with the five state and the District of Columbia campaign, Checkpoint Strike Force. Police say their goal is to reduce the number of drunk and drugged drivers on Calvert County roadways.
