Calvert County Sheriff's Reports


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (April 27, 2009) - The Calvert County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) burglarized a residence on Grays Road in Lusby sometime between 2:00 p.m. on April 18 and 10:30 a.m. on April 19. Property damage is estimated at $20. No property was taken. Dep. James Norton is investigating.

BURGLARY: A home on Summer City Blvd. in Chesapeake Beach was burglarized between April 21 and 22 and a Wii game system and two Wii games, together valued at $360, was stolen. DFC Jeff Elliott is continuing the investigation.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: Dep. Ian Umphrey conducted a traffic stop on a southbound vehicle on Md. Rt. 4 near Mountain Trail on April 22 at 6:54 p.m. The passenger in the vehicle, later identified as Ashley Evonne Kresse, 23 of Lusby, was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia, straws and pens used to introduce a schedule IV controlled dangerous substance (alprazolam), into the body by snorting through the nose.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: Dep. Aundrea Lawton investigated a suspicious vehicle at the Long Beach Drive parking area on April 24 just before midnight. The driver, Ruben Leo Smith, 24 of Lusby, was cited for possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia, a round metal cylinder used for the processing of marijuana for the purpose of consumption and possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia, a pipe.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On April 24 at 12:40 a.m. Dep. Christopher Waldron conducted a traffic stop in the area of northbound Md. Rt. 4 and Commerce Lane. The driver, D'Angelo Tyrone Wilkins, 18 of Forestville, was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. He was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and use of drug paraphernalia, a plastic baggie.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: Dep. Andrew Clas took the report of a theft from a vehicle while parked at Overlook Drive in the beach parking lot of Lusby on April 25. The theft of $130 in cash from the unlocked vehicle occurred between 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Dep. Clas will continue the investigation.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: Dep. James Norton arrested Cameron Latrell Carter-Frost, 20 of Lexington Park and charged him with possession of marijuana after conducting a traffic stop on the vehicle Carter-Frost was driving on April 25 at 3:03 a.m. near Dowell Road in Solomons.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On April 25 at 11:32 p.m. on southbound Md. Rt. 4 in the area of Governors Run Road in Port Republic after stopping a vehicle for suspecting the driver was under the influence, DFC David Denton arrested the driver, Rhonda Jean Wilkerson, 31 of Chesapeake Beach, for driving under the influence. Wilkerson was found to have suspected marijuana on her person and was also charged with possession of marijuana.
