Three Arrested in St. Mary's on Drug Distro Charges


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (April 23, 2009) - The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) Narcotics Division today released the following incident and arrest reports. The Division is an investigative team comprised of Detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police Drug Enforcement Division and Federal Drug Agents (HIDTA Group 34). The Division was established on September 1st, 2007 and is based in St. Mary’s County.

ALLEGED DRUG DISTRIBUTION: Detectives began an investigation into drug distribution from a California home. As the investigation continued, Christina Lorene-Marie Pace, age 18, was identified as the target of the investigation. Detectives began to make undercover purchases of marijuana from Pace. This led to a search warrant execution on her residence. Once inside, detectives found LSD and marijuana that was readied for distribution. The cases were reviewed with State's Attorney Richard D. Fritz and presented to the grand jury. Pace was arrested on multiple warrants with numerous charges to include Distribution of Marijuana. She was arrested and a jailed with a no-bond status.

ALLEGED DRUG DISTRIBUTION: Thomas Ronald Morgan, a/k/a "Big Head," was identified as a cocaine distributor in the Callaway and Piney Point area of St. Mary's County. Undercover purchases of cocaine were made from Morgan and the cases were reviewed with the State's Attorney and presented to the grand jury. Morgan was arrested on multiple charges which include Distribution of Cocaine and Conspiring to Distribute Cocaine. This arrest is related to an ongoing investigation. He was arrested and jailed with a no-bond status.

ALLEGED DRUG DISTRIBUTION: Information was received that Brandon Rafael Adams, age 24, was selling cocaine from a Lexington Park residence. Detectives subsequently made undercover purchases of Crack Cocaine from Adams. The case was reviewed by State's Attorney Richard D. Fritz and subsequently presented to the grand jury. The grand jury issued an arrest warrant for Adams for charges that included Distribution of Cocaine. He was arrested and is currently being held without bond.
