PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (April 9, 2009) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) Thursday released the following incident and arrest reports.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On April 2, 2009 at approximately 2:20 p.m., Trooper Wyer stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 at Whispering Woods in Prince Frederick. The driver, Brandy M. Staples, 22, of Lusby, was arrested for driving on a suspended license. A search of the vehicle revealed Marijuana. Staples was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
THEFT AND POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On April 2, 2009 at 6:00 p.m., Trooper Hunt responded to the 6800 block of Mackall Rd., St. Leonard, for a reported theft. Investigation revealed that cash had been taken from a purse in the residence by cleaning personnel. A look out was given and Trooper Cavill located the suspect's vehicle in Prince Frederick. Kelly A. Trenton, 22, of Prince Frederick, and Johnny B. Young Jr., 22, of Prince Frederick, were placed under arrest. A search of the vehicle revealed cocaine. Both were transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On April 4, 2009 at 1:45 a.m., Corporal Bevard stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 260 at Shields Drive in Owings. Anthony M. Lauchie, 20, of Largo, was arrested after a search revealed a plastic bag containing cocaine in his pocket. He was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
THEFT: On April 4, 2009, at 7:10 a.m., Trooper Parker responded to the Solomons Car Wash for a reported theft. The complainant stated that the money collector for the automatic car wash had been stolen. A vending machine and a vacuum had both been damaged. THEFT: On April 6, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., Trooper Parker responded to the 500 block of Stampner Ct., Prince Frederick, for a reported theft. The complainant advised his Mongoose blue and white "Freestyle" bike had been stolen. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at 410-535-1400.
