St. Mary's County BCI Narcotics Arrests


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (April 3, 2009) - The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) Narcotics Division Thursday released the following incident and arrest report. The Division is an investigative team comprised of Detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police Drug Enforcement Division and Federal Drug Agents (HIDTA Group 34). The Division was established on September 1st, 2007 and is based in St. Mary’s County.

CRACK COCAINE DISTRIBUTION: Vice Narcotics detectives began an investigation into a drug distribution location in Lexington Park. As the investigation unfolded, Kendra Nicole Brooks, 21, was identified as a distributor and suspect. Detectives made undercover purchases of Crack Cocaine on several occasions from Brooks.

After a case review with State's Attorney Richard D. Fritz, the case was presented to the St. Mary's County Grand Jury and multiple arrest warrants were obtained. She is currently awaiting a bond review and is being held without bond.
