"Meeting the author of a book makes the book and reading come alive for the young reader. BooksAlive! brings the excitement of good children's books and reading to all ages," Director Kathleen Reif states. "Sharing books with children should be celebrated everyday by reading to the young children in your life and bringing them in to the library to get their first library card and to check out books."
