Calvert County Sheriff's Reports


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (March 30, 2009) - The Calvert County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest report.

UNSOLVED BURGLARIES: An employee at Spring Cove Marina on Lore Road in Solomons advised DFC Robert Burggraff that unknown suspect(s) had burglarized 7 boats, stealing a $200 flat screen television from one, and causing a total of approximately $11,700 in damage to the boats. The theft and vandalism occurred between 4:30 p.m. on March 25 and 7:45 a.m. March 26. The employee advised this was the second incident of this nature, the first occurring in mid-March with $500 in property stolen and damage in the amount of $3000.

On March 27 DFC Burggraff again responded to Spring Cove Marina for a third call of burglary and vandalism that occurred overnight between March 26 and 27. Several more boats were broken into and vandalized. The exact amount of the damage has not yet been determined.

Spring Cove Marina owners are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons perpetrating these crimes.
