EL SEGUNDO, Calif., March 30 /PRNewswire/—Wyle has been selected as one of several prime contractors to provide information technology services and solutions to federal government and Department of Defense agencies under the General Services Administration (GSA) Alliant Government-wide Acquisition Contract. The award could be worth hundreds of millions of dollars to Wyle over the life of the contract, which has a contract ceiling of $50 billion.
The scope of the Alliant contract vehicle includes any and all components of an integrated Information Technology (IT) solution, including all current and any new technologies which may emerge during the life cycle of the contract, and IT systems and services in support of National Security Systems.
The Alliant award is a 10-year Multiple Award/Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity contract with a five-year base contract and one five-year contract option. The contract supports various task order contract types including Fixed Price, Cost and Time and Material, and Labor Hour.
The Alliant program is aligned with Federal Enterprise Architecture to support information technology investment planning. It covers all components to support integrated information technology solutions requirements including infrastructure, enterprise application services, and information technology management services. It also provides for integration of current and future technologies over the life of the contract.
Under the Alliant contract, Wyle will support regional and global information technology requirements, meet increased small business subcontracting goals, and provide ancillary support to offer integrated information technology solutions to all of its customers.
