PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (March 26, 2009) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On March 18, 2009 at 6:45 p.m., Trooper First Class Murphy responded to the 200 block of W. Mt. Harmony Rd., Owings, for a reported theft from a vehicle. The victim stated that his vehicle, parked at his residence, had been entered by others and items were taken. The vehicle had not been locked. BURGLARY: On March 19, 2009 at 8:45 p.m., Trooper Saucerman responded to the 300 block of South Shore Terrace, Prince Frederick, in response to a residential burglary. The victim stated that several jewelry items and cash had been taken from the residence. Investigation continues. MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On March 20, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., Trooper First Class K. Greggs responded to a commercial business on Oxford Way, Huntingtown, for a reported malicious destruction of property. The complainant reported that when opening the store she noticed what appeared to be a bullet hole in the window. Investigation revealed that the hole in the glass to have come from a BB gun. THEFT VIA CHECK CARD: On March 21, 2009 at 09:30 a.m., Trooper First Class K. Greggs responded to the 4000 block of Buck Board Lane, Dunkirk, for a reported theft. The complainant advised that unauthorized charges on her husband's check card. The victim stated that the credit card was apparently taken from her place of employment. Andrew A. Cella, 25, and Karen F. Cella, 47 of Dunkirk, have been arrested and processed at Calvert County Detention Center.
ASSAULT, KIDNAPPING: On March 21, 2009 at 10:55 a.m., Trooper First Class M. Lass responded to the 8100 block of Ebbtide Lane, Lusby for a reported assault. The victim stated that a former boyfriend had awakened her tapping on the windows, asked her outside and then forcibly took her from the residence to another address in Chesapeake Ranch Estates. There he held her against her will for several hours, eventually taking her back to her residence. Russell J. Wood, 19 of Lusby, was arrested and taken to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
BURGLARY, THEFT: On March 23, 2009 at 06:50 a.m., Trooper First Class S. Johns responded to the 8500 block of Patuxent Avenue, Broomes Island, for a reported burglary/theft. The owner reported that juveniles had entered the property without permission and removed property. Charges are pending against the juveniles.
