FAIRFAX, Va., March 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/—SRA International, Inc. (NYSE:SRX), a leading provider of technology and strategic consulting services and solutions to government organizations and commercial clients, announced it has been awarded a task order on the SeaPort-e contract to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division by providing systems engineering and program support to the Navy and a variety of Joint Program Offices. The contract value is $40 million if all options are exercised.
"This task order will involve warfare concept development and feasibility studies supporting a variety of naval and defense agencies," said SRA Senior Vice President, National Security Sector, Pat Burke. The Indian Head Division is a leader in the Navy's Energetics Enterprise, providing research and energetic systems for U.S. fighting forces worldwide. Under the task order, SRA will support U.S. defense mission readiness by providing systems engineering, capabilities and requirements analysis, and program management support. Functions will include capability development associated with advanced C4ISR (command and control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance), as well as software-defined radios and other wireless forms of communications.
