One Dead in Two Car Collision in Hollywood


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (March 23, 2009)—Lindsey Rudolph, 29, of Lexington Park, died Monday morning after her northbound 2006 Honda Civic crossed the median on Route 235 and struck a southbound Ford E350 van driven by Donald Matlock, 29, of Mechanicsville. Rudolph was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident occurred at approximately 8:45 am on Three Notch Road just north of Clover Hill Road in Hollywood.

Mr. Matlock was transported to St. Mary's Hospital by ambulance.

The Sheriff's Office Collision Reconstruction Team responded and is continuing the investigation. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Corporal Doug Mills at 301-475-4200 extension 1984.
