Calvert County Sheriff's Reports


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (March 23, 2009) - The Calvert County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

BURGLARY: Unknown suspect(s) burglarized a shed on Lottie Fowler Road in Prince Frederick between March 8 and 19 and stole a $400 Briggs and Stratton Generac 2300 PSI pressure washer. Anyone with information is asked to contact DFC Mark Robshaw at 410-535-2800.

DOP: A victim reported to Dep. Jason Lord that sometimes between March 14 at 8:00 p.m. and March 15 at 6:30 a.m., unknown suspect(s) flattened all four tires on his vehicle and made one continuous scratch mark around the entire vehicle. The damage, estimated at $5200, occurred while the car was parked outside the victim's home on Buckskin Trail in Lusby.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: Dep. Andrew Woodford investigated a theft from a vehicle that occurred sometime between March 14 and 16 on Woodland Lane in Chesapeake Beach. The suspect(s) stole the face plate from a Kenwood CD player, which is valued at $200.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On March 18 at 10:29 p.m. Dep. Christopher Wells responded to the area of Md. Rt. 260 and Jewell Road for a complaint of an erratically driven vehicle. Upon arrival, Wells observed a black vehicle, running, sitting in the intersection of Cavalier Drive and Knight Avenue in Dunkirk with a female in the driver seat. The driver, later identified as Jaime Masciantonio Turner, 25 of Huntingtown, had a strong odor of alcohol emitting from her. She failed a field sobriety test and was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Turner was also charged with possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, a silver serving spoon with suspected heroin residue and a hypodermic syringe. Turner was additionally charged with possession of an electronic image of U.S. currency with intent to defraud and knowingly possessing counterfeit U.S. currency after it was found in the vehicle.

DOP: Unknown suspect(s) damaged the instrument panel of a truck parked outside a home in the 1200 block of Solomons Island Road in Prince Frederick sometime between February 1 and March 21. The damage is estimated at $400. DFC Mark Robshaw is investigating.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: A lookout for a possible intoxicated driver in the area of Md. Rt. 4 south of White Sands Drive in Lusby was posted on March 21 at 10:20 p.m. DFC Mark Fitzgerald observed the vehicle traveling Md. Rt. 4 southbound straddling the white center line. He conducted a traffic stop and learned the driver was Casey Michael Clark, 20 of St. Leonard. Clark failed several field sobriety checks and was arrested for DUI/DWI. A search incident to arrest revealed a partially burnt cigarette (blunt) containing suspected marijuana. He was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, a blunt rolling paper.
