MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (March 19, 2009) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On March 12, 2009 at 10:10 a.m., Trooper First Class Greggs received a report of a theft from a vehicle in the 2300 block of Sixes Road in Prince Frederick. The rear registration plate and validation sticker had been removed from a van. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at (410)535-1400.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On March 12, 2009 at 3:00 p.m., Trooper First Class Greggs received a report of a theft from a vehicle in the 11100 block of Dumbartron Drive, Dunkirk. The rear registration plate and validation sticker had been removed from a vehicle while parked in the victim's yard. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at (410)535-1400.

BURGLARY: On March 12, 2009 at 2:15 p.m., Trooper First Class Laziuck responded to the 6500 block of Briscoe Turn Rd. in Owings for a report of a burglary. The victim's home was entered while they were not home and several items were stolen. Investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at (410)535-1400.

THEFT FROM BLOCKBUSTER VIDEO: On March 14, 2009 Trooper Hunt responded the Blockbuster Video store in Prince Frederick for a reported theft of DVD's. Two suspects entered the store and reportedly stole numerous DVD's. The employee stated that these suspects were the same suspects from a previous theft in February. Witnesses reported that the suspects left in a Gold Toyota Camry. Investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at (410)535-1400.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On March 15, 2009 at 12:51 a.m., Trooper Lewis stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 231 at Prince Frederick Boulevard. A search revealed that the passenger, Dontay Saunders, 19 of Annapolis, was in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and incarcerated in the Calvert County Detention Center.

THEFT AT K-MART: On March 15, 2009 at 7:30 p.m., Trooper First Class Greggs responded to the K-Mart in Prince Frederick for a shoplifting. Gary D. Irby, 20 of St. Leonard, was arrested for attempting to steal DVD's and a Nintendo Game Cube from the store. He was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: On March 17, 2009 at 1:45 a.m., Trooper Wyer responded to an address in the 3900 block of 3rd Street in North Beach and arrested Phillip D. Bowles, 24, on an outstanding warrant. A search revealed that he was also in possession of Heroine and related drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and incarcerated in the Calvert County Detention Center.

ASSAULT: On March 17, 2009 at 2:25 p.m., Trooper Haut responded to a domestic assault call in the 900 block of Crystal Rock Rd. in Lusby. Investigation revealed that Stephanie Allen, 26 and Adam Warder, 26 of Lusby had assaulted each other. Both were placed under arrest and incarcerated in the Calvert County Detention Center.

Cristina M. PECKMAN, 36, of Chesapeake Beach, Md. arrested on 3/14/09 @ 1:46 a.m. by TPR. R. Lewis

Antown COOPER-PETERSON, 26, of Warrensville Heights, OH arrested on 3/14/09 @ 2:09 a.m. by TFC C. Bowling

Matthew R. MCCORMACK, 25, of Chesapeake Beach, MD arrested on 3/15/09 @ 2:18 a.m. by TPR. A. Wyer

Travon R. COMMODORE, 21, of Port Republic, MD arrested on 3/15/09 @ 5:29 a.m. by CPL B. Bevard
