LA PLATA, Md. (March 8, 2009)—The Charles County 2008 Annual Report to the Citizens of Charles County is now available online in PDF format. The report provides a summary of legislative actions over the past fiscal year, budget highlights, completed projects, photos, and key messages from the Commissioners.
This year, the decision was made not to mail hard-copies to each Charles County household, as has been the norm in prior years, due to current "economic hardships."
However, county officials say printed copies (one per household) will be made available to residents who request one. Requests can be emailed to langj (at) charlescounty.org or call the Charles County Media Relations Office at 301-645-0550.
