LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Feb. 13, 2009) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT: On Monday, February 9, 2009 at 7:03 pm, Travis Ashley Chisholm, 32, of Lexington Park, was arrested by Tpr. G. Thompson for domestic 2nd degree assault. Tpr. Thompson responded to the 21000 block of Spring Wood Court in Lexington Park for the reported domestic dispute. Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, 28, of Lexington Park, who advised she was assaulted by Mr. Chisholm. Mr. Chisholm was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 12:47 am, Christina Ann Arnold, 31, of Lexington Park, was arrested by Tpr. J. Pilkerton for possession of marijuana. Tpr. Pilkerton initiated a traffic stop on a maroon Nissan Maxima on Great Mills Road, at Point Lookout Road in Great Mills for a traffic violation. While speaking with the driver, Ms. Arnold, Tpr. Pilkerton observed a CDS smoking device in plain view. Ms. Arnold was placed under arrest. A search incident to the arrest also revealed Ms. Arnold was in possession of a small baggie of marijuana. Ms. Arnold was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE: On Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 4:32 pm, Tpr. G. Thompson responded to the 17000 block of 2nd Street in Tall Timbers for the reported unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, 40, of Tall Timbers. She advised she loaned her 2006 silver Honda Civic bearing Maryland registration to a friend who has failed to return the vehicle or answer his cell phone. A lookout broadcast was given by St. Mary's Emergency Communications. The vehicle has not been located and the investigation continues.
CIRCUIT COURT WARRANT: On Wednesday, February 11, 2009 Ronnie David Tippett, 19, of Mechanicsville was arrested by Tpr. M. Koock on an outstanding Circuit Court Warrant (T3-13793) for Failing to Appear in Circuit Court on January 23, 2009. The original charge was for Failing to Appear for a Traffic case. Mr. Tippett was taken into custody from the Charles County Detention Center and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending appearance in Circuit Court.
