BETHESDA, Md. (Jan. 29, 2009)—The U.S. Navy awarded OMNITEC Solutions, Inc., a five-year, $20 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract on December 3, 2008, to provide services for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and Program Executive Officers (PEO's) in Patuxent River, Maryland. Headquartered in Bethesda, Md., OMNITEC employs over 20 people in support of NAVAIR in Lexington Park and Annapolis.
Improving the acquisition planning and execution of Navy and Marine Corps Air programs is the overall mission of the broad spectrum of support services OMNITEC will provide to NAVAIR.
The OMNITEC team will utilize analysis and process improvement methodologies to support the improvement and development of acquisition best practices. This will include strategic planning, business intelligence, strategic, operational and tactical level research and analysis, industry collaborative exchange planning and execution activities, as well as direct program support and training. Additionally, specialists will apply statistical and mathematical expertise to assist in improving the overall cost estimation process.

OMNITEC is a business management, communications, and technology services firm providing services to government clients including all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, the Intelligence Community, and several federal civilian agencies. This contract is in addition to the Five-Year, $24.6 Million award to provide Command Strategic Leadership Support Services to Naval Air Systems Command in 2006.
