Calvert County Sheriff's Reports


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Jan. 26, 2009) - The Calvert County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On January 18 at 3:15 p.m. after conducting a traffic stop on Main Street in Prince Frederick, Dep. Ian Umphrey discovered that the passenger in the vehicle, later identified as Travis Travoy Wills, 29, of Huntingtown, was in possession of suspected marijuana. He was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, cigarette rolling papers.

DOP: Unknown suspect(s) spray painted a vehicle on Jones Road in Dunkirk while it was parked outside a home causing $350 in damage. The vandalism occurred sometime between 11:30 p.m. on January 19 and 10:16 a.m. on the 20th. Sgt. Mike Hurlock is investigating.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: Dep. James Norton conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Jan. 22 at 8:05 p.m. on southbound Md. Rt. 4 at White Sands Drive in Lusby. The driver, later identified as a 17-year-old female from Lusby, was subsequently charged on a youth report with possession of drug paraphernalia, a black and sliver smoking device with burnt residue of suspected marijuana. She was released to a parent.

DOP: Unknown suspect(s) stole a passenger side taillight from a 1989 Toyota Pickup truck while it was pared at a home on Brickhouse Road in Dunkirk overnight between January 21 and 22. The light and resulting damage to the vehicle is valued at $125. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dep. Andrew Clas.
