MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Jan. 22, 2009) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 4:02 pm, Tpr. J. Gibson responded to the 23000 block of Birch Manor Court in California for the reported malicious destruction of property. Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant, 20, of Hollywood. The complainant advised unknown suspect(s) scratched his front bumper and the left fender with an unknown object. He advised it occurred between 7:00 am January 19, 2009 to January 20, 2009 at 3:15 pm. Neighborhood checks were performed with negative results. The investigation continues.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at 12:12 am, Donald Lewis Bryan, Jr., 29, of Waldorf was arrested by Cpl. J. Linger for possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia. Mr. Bryan was operating a gray Honda Passport southbound Pegg Road at Westbury Blvd. in Great Mills when he was stopped for exceeding the posted speed limit. A routine MVA check revealed Mr. Bryan's driving privileges were suspended. Mr. Bryan was found to be in possession of a CDS smoking device with cocaine. Mr. Bryan was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center, where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT ARREST: On Monday, January 19, 2009 at 2:00 pm, Sandra Lee Figeroux, 56, of Norfolk, Va. was arrested by Tpr. E. Page on an outstanding Arrest Warrant (T3-13320) issued by the District Court in Leonardtown on March 13, 2008. The original charge was for prostitution. Ms. Figeroux was extradited back from North Carolina. She is being incarcerated in the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT ARREST: On Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 9:15 am, Terry Francis Mattingly, 40, of Leonardtown was arrested by Tpr. W. Jefferson on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-12109) for failing to appear in District Court in Leonardtown on April 25, 2006. The original charge was driving on a suspended license. Mr. Mattingly was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
