St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Jan. 13, 2009) - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

BURGLARY: On January 12, 2009 the victim left her residence of Rodger Drive in Lexington Park to go shopping. Approximately 15 minutes after the victim left the residence, a witness saw Kirk Ramsey Morgan, 20, of Lexington Park, exiting the home. The witness recognized Morgan and asked him why he was inside the residence. Mr. Morgan stated he was using the bathroom. When the victim returned home a short time later, the witness told the victim she saw Mr. Morgan exiting the victim's residence. The victim knew Morgan so she called him by phone and asked him why he was inside her house. Mr. Morgan again stated he was using the bathroom. The victim checked the residence and discovered property missing. Morgan was arrested and charged with 1st degree burglary, 3rd degree burglary and theft under $500.

2ND DEGREE ASSAULT: On January 12, 2009 deputies responded to the residence on Birch Manor Drive in Mechanicsville for a report of a domestic assault. Investigation revealed Mary Lou Frost, 51, of Mechanicsville, was involved in a verbal dispute with the victim. The dispute became physical when Ms. Frost scratched the victim in the chest and on the cheek. Ms. Frost was arrested and charged with second degree assault.
