LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Jan. 9, 2009)—The St. Mary's Hospital today announced its new leadership for 2009-2010. Every other year, the medical staff at the hospital elects new leadership in each of 10 departments, as well as three officers.
Dr. Harold Lee, an anesthesiologist, is the new chief of the Medical Staff. Dr. Avani D. Shah, specializing in internal medicine, is the vice chief. Cardiologist Dr. Anil K. Shah will serve as the secretary/treasurer, and Dr. Cindy Daly, otolaryngology, is the medical representative to the Board of Directors.
The departmental chiefs are as follows: Dr. Lee, Anesthesiology; Dr. Jeremy Tucker, Emergency Medicine; Dr. Thomas Wilkinson, Family Medicine; Dr. Amish Shah, Medicine; Dr. Lisa Polko, Obstetrics/Gynecology; Dr. Yahia Tagouri, Pathology; Dr. Fahmi Fahmi, Pediatrics; Dr. Robert Konkol, Psychiatry; Dr. Bolivia Davis, Radiology; and Dr. Kelly Fritz, Surgery.
