LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Jan. 7, 2009) - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest report.
DOMESTIC 2ND DEGREE ASSAULT: On January 5, deputies responded to a residence in Callaway for a report of a domestic assault in progress. Investigation revealed the victim and Justin Allen Macrae, 26, of Callaway, were involved in a verbal dispute. It is reported Justin Macrae had several alcoholic beverages to drink and wanted to leave the residence. The victim was concerned Macrae had too many alcoholic beverages to safely drive a motor vehicle so she took his car keys and hid them to prevent him from driving from the residence. Macrae became angry over the victim hiding his car keys so he grabbed her and threw her over the bed and onto the floor. Macrae was arrested and charged with second degree assault.
