LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Dec. 30, 2009) - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office released the following incident and arrest report regarding an alleged false of report of a robbery in Lexington Park.

FALSE REPORT OF A ROBBERY: On Monday, Dec. 28, at 0613 hours, St. Mary's Emergency Communication received a 911 call from Sharon Marie Milburn, 47 of Great Mills, an employee of Chesapeake Cab Company. Milburn reported she was just robbed in the parking lot of the cab company and that her boyfriend, John Joseph Greenwell, 51 of Great Mills, was chasing the suspect down the street.

Dfc. K. Moritz made contact with Milburn and Cpl. P. Handy located Greenwell behind the Bay District Fire Department. Greenwell told Cpl. Handy the suspect ran through the parking lot towards Shangri La Drive. Numerous officers responded to the scene in an attempt to locate the alleged robber but no suspect was located.
