Calvert County Sheriff's Reports


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Dec. 21, 2009) - The Calvert County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DOP: Unknown suspect(s) threw eggs at a home on Rio Grande Trail in Lusby on December 15 at 10:44 p.m. Suspect vehicle and other description information has been obtained from witnesses. The damage is estimated at about $20. DFC Aaron Locke is continuing the investigation.

DOP: DFC David Denton responded to a home on Chapel Hills Drive in Prince Frederick for the report of a destruction of property. The victim advised that someone scratched the passenger side of her vehicle causing an estimated $15,000 in damage. It happened sometime on December 15. Anyone with information is asked to contact DFC Denton at 410-535-2800.

DOP: Sometime between December 13 and December 17, unknown person(s) cut the wire on a fish finder positioning system on a boat parked in front of a home on Brooks Cove Road in Lusby. The damage is valued at $100. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dep. Michael Economes at 410-535-2800.

THEFT: On December 17 at 7:54 p.m. DFC Aaron Locke responded to the Lusby Food Lion for a reported shoplifter. After arriving, DFC Locke determined that Anna Jackson Earl, 45 of Lusby, had stolen bonus stickers and was attempting to leave the store without paying. Bonus stickers are awarded to paying customers who spend $10 and then are redeemable for cookware. She was charged on a criminal citation with theft under $100.

CDS VIOLATION: A homeowner on Ash Court in Owings contacted police on December 18 at 11:22 p.m. after he observed a vehicle driving through yards in the neighborhood. The vehicle got stuck in the victim's yard. DFC Paul Wood responded and made contact with the suspect, later identified as Jason Paul Crispin, 30 of Waldorf. Crispin was charged with carrying a concealed dangerous weapon, a knife, possession of a schedule II drug, morphine, possession of a schedule II drug, adderall and possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia, an unlabeled prescription bottle.
