St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Dec. 12, 2009) - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office recently released the following incident and arrest reports.

SECOND-DEGREE ASSAULT: On December 9, Corporal Handy responded to a residence on Goddard Court in Leonardtown for a report of a domestic assault. Investigation revealed James Craig Proctor, 22 of Leonardtown, was in a verbal dispute with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Proctor punched the victim in the head. Proctor was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

SECOND-DEGREE ASSAULT: On December 9, Dfc. J. Maletto responded to a residence on Lexwood Court in Lexington Park for a report of a domestic distrubance. Investigation revealed Robert Harold Tiger, 39 of Lexington Park, was in a verbal dispute with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Tiger punched the victim several times in the ribs. Tiger was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

SECOND-DEGREE ASSAULT: On December 9, the St. Mary's County Emergency Communications Center broadcast a lookout for a green Toyota passenger vehicle in the California area. The vehicle contained two individual engaged in a dispute. Deputy T. Seyfried located the vehicle in the Hickory Hills Shopping Center and spoke with the occupants. Investigation revealed Marvin Anthony Taylor, 50 of Loveville, was in a verbal dispute with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Taylor punched the victim in the head. Taylor was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

SECOND-DEGREE ASSAULT: On December 9, Deputy T. Seyfried responded to a residence on Dee Court in California for a report of a domestic assault. Investigation revealed Meoisha Saundri Burrage, 25 of California, was in a verbal dispute with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Burrage grabbed the victim's face causing a laceration on the victim's cheek. Burrage was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

THEFT, THEFT SCHEME: On December 12, deputies responded to Lowes in California for a report of theft. Deputies spoke with store management and learned Shean Alexander Frey, 18 of Lusby, an employee of Lowes had been stealing money from his assigned register. The thefts occurred between November 22 and December 9. Deputies interviewed Frey and subsequently arrested him. Frey was charged with theft and theft scheme.

SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On December 10, Deputy P. Bowen responded to Brooke Stone Court in Lexington Park for a report of a domestic assault. Investigation revealed Melani Dianne Goodman, 32 of Lexington Park, was involved in a verbal dispute which escalated into a physical assault when Goodman scratched the victim in the face. Goodman was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On December 10, Deputy P. Bowen responded to White Pine Court in California for a report of a domestic assault. Investigation revealed Trevor Anthony Welcome, 42 of California, was involved in a verbal dispute which escalated into a physical assault when Welcome choked the victim. Welcome was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT: On December 10, a women (victim) came to the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office headquarters to reported an assault. The victim reported she was involved in a verbal dispute with Eric Ramon Holt, Sr., 40 of Mechancisville, which escalated into a physical assault when Holt choked and punched her in the face. The assault occurred at the victim's residence in Mechanicsville. The victim reported to deputies that Holt was still at the residence. Deputy First Class M. Harrison responded to the residence, located and arrested Holt for second-degree assault.

VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER: On November 17, April Renee Carter, 27 of Hollywood, was served as the respondent of a protective order. The protective order ordered April Carter to remain off of the residence of the petitioner who resides in Hollywood. The protective order is in effect until May of 2010. On December 10, Renee Carter entered the petitioner's residence in violation of the court order. Renee Carter was arrested and charged with violating the protective order. Dfc. K. Meyer was the investigating/arresting deputy.
