MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Nov. 23, 2009) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, November 18 at 9:00 am, Patricia Ann Holt, 33, of Mechanicsville was arrested by Tpr. N. E. Gresko on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-14200) for Failing to Follow Conditions of Probation. The original charge was theft under $100.00. The warrant was issued by the District Court in Leonardtown on November 16. She was taken into custody at her residence in Mechanicsville and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, November 21 at 7:45 pm, William Howard Grantham, 51, of Piney Point was arrested by Tpr. B. T. Wiesemann on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-14192) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on November 6. The original charges were DWI and DUI. Mr. Grantham was taken into custody at his residence in Piney Point and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

THEFT UNDER $100: On Sunday, November 22 at 12:15 am, Tpr. R. L. Jackson responded to the 21000 block of Liberty Street in Lexington Park for the reported Theft under $100.00. Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant, 36, of St. Inigoes who was reporting that unknown suspect(s) stole the rear Maryland registration plate (GGE842) from her black Ford Taurus. The registration plate was last seen on Saturday evening on the vehicle and has been entered into NCIC. The investigation continues.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Sunday, November 22 at 5:00 pm, Samantha Donley, 42, of Mechanicsville was arrested by Tpr. N. E. Gresko on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13447) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on June 10, 2008. The original charge was Driving without a License. Ms. Donley was operating a silver Chevrolet Blazer when she was stopped on Three Notch Road at Rue Purchase Road in Lexington Park. A routine NCIC and MVA check revealed Ms. Donley had an open Bench Warrant through MSP Leonardtown Barracks and the MVA response revealed she was driving without a license and her driving privilege is suspended. She was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
