PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Nov. 18, 2009) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) recently released the following incident and arrest reports.
THEFT FROM WALMART: On November 12 at 8:20 a.m., Trooper First Class Donaldson responded to the Dunkirk Walmart for a reported theft. An unknown suspect stole a 19" Vizio TV from the store without paying.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT AND ASSAULT: On November 13 at 7:47 p.m., Trooper Bender responded to the Safeway in Prince Frederick for a reported disorderly person. Maurice F. Jacks, 47 of Dunkirk, was charged with Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct and Second Degree Assault. He was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
ASSAULT: On November 14 at 12:01 a.m., Trooper Wyer was conducting a patrol check at the Calvert Village Shopping Center in Prince Frederick and found two subjects fighting in front of the Green Turtle Restaurant. Sean R. Tayman, 30 of Prince Frederick, and Mark M. Spears, 22 of Huntingtown, were arrested and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On November 14 at 7:25 p.m., Trooper First Class Donaldson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Hunting Creek Road in Huntingtown. Alfred G. Hicks, 38 of Germantown, was arrested for driving under the influence. A search revealed that he was in possession of cocaine and cocaine paraphernalia. He was taken to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On November 15 at 7:40 a.m., Trooper Cavill responded to the 2600 block of Sequoia Way in Prince Frederick for a report of damaged vehicles. A sharp object was used to scratch the surfaces of four vehicles. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at 410-535-1400.
