LA PLATA, Md. (Nov. 18, 2009) - The La Plata Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) recently released the following incident and arrest reports.
WARRANT ARREST: On November 11 at approximately 1143 hours, Trooper D. Ellington reported to Arby's restaurant to serve an outstanding warrant on Jerry Allen Bradshaw Jr., 25 of Waldorf. THANKSGIVING ENFORCEMENT: As the Thanksgiving Holiday approaches, La Plata Barrack troopers will be out in force. Federal grants will be used to work driving under the influence saturation patrols, aggressive driver and speed enforcement operations. Troopers want to remind motorists traveling this Thanksgiving Holiday of the following: plan the trip carefully, leave early, make sure you are rested, stay alert and stay calm behind the wheel. Also make sure your vehicle is in good working order. The most important tips are: obey the speed limit, don't drink and drive, and always buckle up. Motorists can report highway traffic hazards and suspected drivers under the influence by dialing #77 on their cellular phones or, for emergencies dial 9-1-1.
