LA PLATA, Md. (Oct. 29, 2009) - The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

CALL FOR DISPUTE LEADS TO ARREST: On Oct. 27 at 6 p.m., officers responded to the 3700 block of Wellington Boulevard in Nanjemoy for the report of an assault. Investigation revealed the suspect, Marvin Snow, 36, of Nanjemoy, threatened a female housemate with a knife during an argument. Further investigation revealed the suspect had several bags of cocaine inside the residence. Snow was arrested and charged with first-degree assault and possession of drugs. Officer S. Davis made the arrest.

OFFICERS LOCATE AND ARREST WANTED SUBJECT: On Oct. 28 at 4:32 p.m. members of the Charles County Sheriff's Office Warrant/Fugitive Unit, along with COPS Officers, a K-9 team, and the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force, located and arrested David Wayne Williams, 45, of Indian Head, who was wanted in connection with a burglary, a first-degree assault and second-degree assault. Williams was located at his house on Sandra Court in Indian Head. He attempted to flee but was apprehended after a short foot pursuit. He was remanded to the Charles County Detention Center.
