MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Sept. 24) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

RESISTING ARREST: On Sunday, September 20 at 1:27 pm, Tpr. E. J. Page initiated a traffic stop at north bound Three Notch Road and Mount Zion Church Road in Mechanicsville on a silver Nissan Sentra for exceeding the posted speed limit. Upon contact with the driver, Sha-Monique Rommelle Adams, 27, of Lexington Park, she became argumentative during the traffic stop about having a valid Virginia license. Tpr. Page attempted to place Ms. Adams under arrest for driving without a license when she began to resist. She was restrained and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, September 21 at 9:00 am, Carl William Williamson, Jr., 33, of Hollywood was arrested by Tpr. E. J. Page on a Circuit Court Warrant (T3-14114) for Failing to Appear in Circuit Court in Leonardtown on September 16. The original charge was Driving without a License. Mr. Williamson was taken to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, September 21 at 10:10 am, James E. Bowles, 50, of Avenue was arrested by TFC L. N. Nims on an outstanding Grand Jury Indictment (T3-14090) issued by the Circuit Court in Leonardtown on August 26. The original charge was Burglary 1st Degree. Mr. Bowles was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending his appearance before the Judge.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Monday, September 21 at 5:05 pm, Brian Arthur Weese, 41, of Owings was arrested by TFC M. B. Adams on an outstanding Grand Jury Indictment (T3-14115) issued by the Circuit Court in Leonardtown on September 16. The original charge was 2nd Degree Rape. Mr. Weese was apprehended at his residence and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending his initial appearance before the Judge.

DRUG ARREST: On Monday, September 21 at 6:00 pm, David Michael Null, 30, of Mechanicsville was arrested by Cpl. J. L. Linger for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia. Mr. Null was operating a black Ford Mustang on Mechanicsville Road when he was stopped in the area of Budds Creek Road in Mechanicsville for an equipment violation. Upon contact with Mr. Null, Cpl. Linger observed Marijuana and CDS Paraphernalia in plain view in the vehicle. Mr. Null was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: on Tuesday, September 22 at 6:45 pm, Robert Jason Gass, 25, of Mechanicsville was arrested by TFC E. M. Evans on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-14104) for Failing to Follow Conditions of Probation. The original charge was for DWI/DUI. Mr. Gass was taken into custody at his residence on Baptist Church Road in Mechanicsville. He was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, September 22 at 9:50 pm, Philip Eastwood Metcalf, 23, of Laurel was arrested by TFC E. M. Evans on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-14120) for Failing to Follow Condition of Probation. Mr. Metcalf was originally charged with Driving a vehicle while impaired by alcohol. Mr. Metcalf turned himself in at the Leonardtown Barracks and was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, September 23 at 1:30 am, Diane Lee King-Guy was arrested by TFC R. B. Rezza on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-14116) for Failing to Obey Court Order dated July 16 by Judge John F. Slade. The original charges were Burglary 4th Degree, 2 counts 2nd Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment and False Imprisonment. Ms. King-Guy was taken into custody on a traffic stop at Three Notch Road and Point Lookout Road in Mechanicsville. She was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was held pending her appearance before the Judge.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On Wednesday, September 23 at 7:54 am, TFC J. A. Pilkerton responded to the 26000 block of Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville for the reported Destruction of Property to a Pepsi machine. Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant, 48, of California who advised unknown suspect(s) approached the establishment approximately 12:04 am this morning in a black SUV. A male subject went to the Pepsi machine in an attempt to pry it open but was unsuccessful. He returned to his vehicle and left the scene. The approximate damage to the Pepsi machine is $800.00. The investigation continues. If anyone has information which may lead to the arrest is requested to call the State Police TIPS line at (301) 475-2936.
