PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Sept. 16, 2009) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
CHECKPOINT STRIKE FORCE: The Prince Frederick Barrack will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint during the weekend of September 18 through September 20. The operation will be conducted with the five State and the District of Columbia campaign, Checkpoint Strikeforce. The goal is to reduce the number of drunk and drugged drivers on Calvert County roadways.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On September 9 at 2:05 p.m., Trooper First Class Johns received a reported theft from vehicle. A nail gun was stolen from a work van in the 8100 block of Ash Lane, Lusby. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at 410-535-1400.
THEFT AND DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On September 10 at 12:09 p.m., Trooper First Class Johns responded to the 14300 block of Solomons Island Road in Solomons, for a report of destruction of property. A US Flag was stolen and the flag clasp and cable to the flag pole were damaged. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at 410-535-1400.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On September 12 at 6:56 p.m., Trooper First Class C. Dawson responded to Hallowing Point Park for a report of disorderly conduct. Michelle K. Penn-Cook, 39 of St. Leonard, was arrested and was taken to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
