LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Sept. 10, 2009)—St. Mary's County Public Schools, in collaboration with Calvert County Public Schools, St. Mary's Ryken High School, the College of Southern Maryland, and the St. Mary's County Library System, will host the Southern Maryland College Fair on Tuesday, September 22, at the Hollywood Volunteer Firehouse. The first session is 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and the second session is 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Approximately 100 colleges and universities will be represented.
College and university officials will be on hand to answer questions from students, parents, and guardians concerning their schools—what the institutions offer, their requirements for admission, their location, and their costs.
The events is open to all college-bound students in the tri-county area, as well as those considering college.
