LA PLATA, Md.—Charles County Superintendent James E. Richmond appointed two additional vice principals last week to fill vacancies for the 2009-10 school year. They are Brad Williams as vice principal at Theodore G. Davis Middle School and Diane Laveglia as vice principal at Mt. Hope/Nanjemoy Elementary School.
There is still one administrative opening, the principal position at the F.B. Gwynn Educational Center, which Richmond anticipates filling before the start of the school year.
The appointments were approved by the Board of Education on Aug. 11 and are effective immediately.
