Calvert Man Dies in Apparent Boating Accident


ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (Aug. 13, 2009)—Mr. Harry L. Tauloe Jr., 77, of Owens, Calvert County, died Wednesday from injuries he sustained when the vessel he was operating ran aground on a stone jetty at the mouth of Rockhold Creek in Anne Arundel County.

The Maryland Natural Resource Police and Anne Arundel Fire and Rescue responded to the scene around 11:15 p.m. and transported Mr. Tauleo to Anne Arundel Medical Center.

The Maryland Natural Resource Police are still conducting the investigation to determine what cause Mr. Tauloe to run aground.
