LA PLATA, Md. (Aug. 3, 2009) - The La Plata Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
INDECENT EXPOSURE, RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT: On August 2 at approximately 0100 hours, TFC J. Edelen was traveling southbound U.S. Route 301, south of Route 228 when he observed a green Chevrolet pull into an access road about 10 feet off of R.S. Route 301 to Plaza Shopping Center. He observed a male urinating in front of the vehicle and a female urinating beside the vehicle. He also observed a child in a child safety seat in the back seat. The safety seat was not seat belted in and the child was not belted into the child safety seat. Upon contact with Theodore King, age 52, and Katrina A. Foxx, age 38, both of Washington D.C., TFC Edelen detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. Both King and Foxx were placed under arrest for indecent exposure and reckless endangerment. The child was released to relatives.
POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On August 3 at approximately 0037 hours, TFC J. Edelen was traveling on Sub Station Road in the area of Route 925 when he observed a gold Mazda cross the double yellow lines several times. TFC Edelen stopped the vehicle and made contact with the driver Cecil Maurice Green, age 46 of Aquasco, and passengers Earl Francis Douglass, age 52 of Aquasco, and Wilbert Nelson Brown, age 49, of Aquasco. All three were arrested for possession of cocaine and paraphernalia.
