(July 13, 2009)—The Maryland Natural Resources Police (NRP) are investigating a body that was found floating in Shipwright’s Harbor Marina, located on Herring Bay Road, in Deale, Anne Arundel County, a few miles north of North Beach.
NRP was notified on Sunday at approximately 4:15 pm by the Anne Arundel County 911 of a body that was floating in the marina. A body of a 62 year-old white male was recovered.
The body is being sent to the Medical Examiners Office in Baltimore for autopsy.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The Maryland Natural Resources Police Special Operation Division is investigating.
