MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (July 6, 2009) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) recently released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT: On June 24 at 4:00 a.m., Trooper Saucerman responded to the 8200 block of Copperleaf Court in Owings for a reported theft. A Troy Built 2600 PSI pressure washer was stolen from the victim's front porch.

THEFT: On June 24 at 9:56 a.m., Trooper Donaldson responded to the 9500 block of N. Side Road in Owings for a reported theft. A Craftsman Compound Miter Saw was removed from an unsecured garage.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On June 24 at 5:07 p.m., Trooper Logsdon responded to the 3200 block of Howard Drive in Port Republic for a report of destruction of property. The mail box at the residence had been damaged.

THEFT: On June 24 at 7:00 p.m., Trooper Haut responded to the Holiday Inn in Solomons for a reported theft. Currency and medications had been removed from a room.

ASSAULT: On June 24 at 7:51 p.m., Trooper Haut responded to the 2300 block of Holly Drive in Port Republic for a reported assault. Todd C. Osborn, 39 of Port Republic, was arrested for assaulting his wife during an argument. Osborn was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

VEHICLE THEFT: On June 26 at 09:45 a.m., Trooper Cavill responded to the 500 block of Dorsey Rd for a reported vehicle theft. A 2004 Silver Toyota Camry was stolen while parked in front of the residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at 410-535-1400.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On June 27 at 01:07 a.m., Trooper Lewis stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 at Stoakley Road in Prince Frederick. Timothy D. Morningstar, 40 of Prince Frederick, was arrested for DUI. A search revealed Cocaine and other drug paraphernalia within the vehicle. Mr. Morningstar was charged and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
