Calvert County Sheriff's Reports


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (June 29, 2009) - The Calvert County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: Unknown suspect(s) stole a 30 GB iPod Classic, valued at $150, from an unlocked vehicle parked in front of a home on Oakcrest Drive in St. Leonard between June 20 and 21. Dep. Aundrea Lawton is investigating the theft.

DOP: Approximately $1800 in damage was done to a 1995 Chevy truck while it was parked on Ox Bow Court in Lusby between June 21 and 22. The truck was spray painted with red paint. Dep. Jason Lord will continue the investigation.

THEFT OF TRACTOR: A John Deere GT-245 lawn tractor, valued at over $5000, was stolen from the yard of a home on Sixes Road in Prince Frederick between June 23 and 25. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dep. Aundrea Lawton at 410-535-2800.

BURGLARY: A home on Comstock Drive in Lusby was burglarized sometime between June 13 and 27. Nothing appeared to have been taken. DFC Aaron Locke is investigating.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: A yellow 2400psi Karcher power washer with a Honda motor valued at $500 was taken from the bed of a pickup truck that was parked outside a home on 2nd Street in Chesapeake Beach overnight between June 23 and 24. Dep. Andrew Woodford is investigating the theft.

CDS VIOLATION: Dep. James Norton cited Michael Stephen Radtke, 21, of Prince Frederick, for possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, a metal pipe, on June 26 at 12:34 a.m. as he was walking in the middle of Cassell Blvd and Centre Avenue in Prince Frederick.

THEFT OF TRACTOR: Unknown suspect(s) stole a silver Craftsman LT 1000 42-inch deck lawn tractor from a shed on Hallowing Point Road in Prince Frederick. The theft was discovered June 27 and appears to have occurred between June 23 and that date. Dep. Vaughn Evans is continuing the investigation.

CDS VIOLATION: Cpl. Richard Wilson investigated a disorderly male at a home on Gowan Court in Prince Frederick on June 27 at 11:53 p.m. He subsequently arrested Ernest Maurice Hensley, 29 of no fixed address, and charged him with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, a plastic bag used to store marijuana and disorderly conduct.
