MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (June 23, 2009) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On June 18 at 6:50 p.m., Trooper Donaldson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Huntingtown Road at Park Place in Huntingtown. During the traffic stop, marijuana was located in the vehicle. Timothy M. Johnson, 18 of Huntingtown, was arrested and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.

POSSESSION OF COCAINE: On June 19 at 9:45 a.m., Trooper Wyer stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 at the Thomas Johnson Bridge in Solomons. The driver, John M. Scott, 47 of Lusby, was taken into custody for an active warrant. A search revealed pills and a smoking device for cocaine. The passenger, Timothy M. Dalrymple, 41 of St. Leonard, was arrested. Both Scott and Dalrymple were charged with possession of drugs. Both were transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.

BURGLARY: On June 19 at 10:45 a.m., Trooper First Class Bowling responded to the 300 block of Cayuse Trail in Lusby for a reported theft. Two Rubbermaid Sheds had been removed from the property by unknown suspect(s). Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at 410-535-1400.

DUI, POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On June 20 at 1:05 a.m., Trooper Saucerman responded to Rt. 260 and Mt. Harmony Road in Owings for a single vehicle collision. The driver, Melissa R. Baylor, 33 of St. Inigoes, was arrested for DUI. She was transported to the Maryland State Police Barrack in Prince Frederick. A secondary search revealed that Ms. Baylor was in possession of Marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.

THEFT: On June 20 at 8:50 a.m., Trooper Lewis responded to the 13000 block of Solomons Island Rd. for a reported theft. The victim reported that unknown suspect(s) had removed a tool box containing miscellaneous hand tools from his locked boat. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at 410-535-1400.

ASSAULT: On June 20 at 3:30 p.m., Trooper Hunt responded to Broomes Island Rd and Williams Wharf Rd. for a reported assault. The victim stated Stacy D. McCarson, 46 of Lexington Park, had assaulted him, striking his face several times. McCarson was arrested and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.

THEFT: On June 21 at 2:00 a.m., Trooper Parker responded to the 14400 block of Solomons Island Rd. for a reported theft. The victims stated items were removed from an unsecured vehicle. Two MP3 players, a digital camera, IPOD, credit cards and a Blackberry were some of the missing items. Anyone with information is asked to call the Maryland State Police at 410-535-1400.
