LA PLATA, Md. (June 23, 2009) - The La Plata Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest report.
ILLEGAL DRUGS: On June 22 at approximately 12:27 a.m., Trooper W. Posey was traveling southbound U.S. Route 301, north of St. Patrick’s Drive, when he observed a silver Toyota erratically going down the highway. Trooper Posey stopped the vehicle and made contact with Nia Toni Blakney, age 21 of Washington D.C. Blakney was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
