PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (June 16, 2009) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
THEFT: On June 9 at 5:00 p.m., Trooper Hunt responded to the WalMart in Prince Frederick for a reported theft. Investigation revealed that two men fled the store with a computer system. A vehicle description was broadcast to officers in the area. Deputy First Class Wells of the Sheriff's Department located the vehicle. The suspects threw the stolen items from the vehicle and attempted to flee. The vehicle was stopped and the suspects were arrested. Norland E. Washington, 40 of Accokeek, and Spencer T. Boulware, 43 of Washington, DC, were arrested, charged with theft and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
THEFT: On June 12 at 2:00 p.m., Trooper First Class Bowling responded to the 500 block of Maple Way in Lusby for a reported theft of tags. Maryland registration plates were stolen from the victim's vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to call the Maryland State Police at 410-535-1400.
BURGLARY: On June 12 at 11:25 p.m., Trooper Haut responded to the 600 block of Field Road in Lusby for a reported theft. Cash and an electronic game system was removed from the home. Anyone with information is asked to call the Maryland State Police at 410-535-1400.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On June 13 at 11:36 p.m., Trooper Haut stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 at Plum Point Road in Huntingtown. Marijuana was observed in the vehicle and Darrell R. Sewell, 31 of Gambrills, was arrested. He was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
THEFT: On June 14 at 7:05 a.m., Trooper First Class Murphy responded to the 11400 block of Stirrup Lane in Lusby for a reported theft. A Japanese Maple tree and a Redskins planter was removed from the yard. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at 410-535-1400.
THEFT: On June 14 at 10:45 a.m., Trooper Saucerman responded to the 2500 block of Hillside Drive in Huntingtown for a reported theft. An IPOD was removed the victim's vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at 410-535-1400.
