MSP Reports for Calvert County


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (June 9, 2009) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

BURGLARY: On June 1, 2009 at 2:35 p.m., Trooper First Class Bowling responded to the 4100 block of Leitches Wharf Road in Barstow, for a reported burglary. A home and storage area had been broken into. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at 410-535-1400.

THEFT: On June 1, 2009 at 12:49 p.m., Trooper Saucerman responded to Safeway in Dunkirk for a report of a purse stolen from a shopping cart. Investigation led to the arrest of Jordan M. Dixon, 19 of Lusby. He was charged and taken to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.

BURGLARY: On June 3, 2009 at 5:47 p.m., Trooper Lewis responded to the 1300 block of Sark Court in Prince Frederick, in reference to a burglary. Cash and prescription drugs were taken from the residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at 410-535-1400.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On June 4, 2009 at 6:52 p.m., Trooper Parker responded to the public boat ramp at the Benedict Bridge in Prince Frederick for a reported destruction of property. Tires were damaged on the victim's truck. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at 410-535-1400.

POSSESSION OF OXYCODONE: On June 7, 2009 at 4:10 a.m., Trooper First Class Lass stopped a vehicle on Route 231 for traffic violations. Burke E. Burns, 21 of Leonardtown, was charged with driving under the influence. He was also found to be in possession of Oxycodone without a prescription. He was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
