St. Mary's County BCI Narcotics Arrest


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (June 6, 2009) - The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) Narcotics Division today released the following incident and arrest report. The Division is an investigative team comprised of Detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police Drug Enforcement Division and Federal Drug Agents (HIDTA Group 34). The Division was established on September 1st, 2007 and is based in St. Mary’s County.

MARIJUANA GROW OPERATION: Detectives received information that there was a possible marijuana grow operation at a residence located in Lexington Park. A search and seizure warrant was executed and located both inside and outside were numerous marijuana plants in various stages of cultivation. Related paraphernalia and additional marijuana were also located. Suspect Randolph Eric Jackle, age 48, was arrested without incident. A past conviction makes Suspect Jackle a convicted felon. Several firearms and ammunition were also recovered. Suspect Jackle was charged with Manufacturing Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Additional charges are pending a State's Attorney's Office review.
