MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (June 4, 2009) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, May 30 at 9:05 pm, Mark Douglas Riddle, 50, of Waldorf was arrested by Tpr. J. Hardesty on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13967) for Failing to Appear in District Court on May 26, 2009. The original charge was DWI. Mr. Riddle was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, June 2 at 7:37 pm, Terry Eugene Snowden, 42, of Springdale was taken into custody on Body Attachment (T3-13880) by the Maryland Transportation Authority Police at the Ft. McHenry Tunnel in Baltimore. He was relayed from Baltimore to Calvert County where he was taken into custody by Tpr. J. Hardesty and taken to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. The original charge was Failing to Appear for a hearing on traffic related charges. He was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, June 2 at 8:26 pm, Devon Albert Courtney Morgan, 19, of Great Mills was arrested by Tpr. J. Pilkerton on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13919) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on April 24, 2009. The original charge was Possession of Marijuana. Mr. Morgan was taken into custody at his residence in Great Mills and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Tuesday, June 2 at 8:34 pm, Dominique Trenee Queen, 22, of Lexington Park was arrested by Tpr. M. Koock on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13976) for Failing to Appear for his Preliminary Inquiry in District Court in Leonardtown on May 29, 2009. The original charge was Assault 2nd Degree. Mr. Queen was taken into custody at his residence in Lexington Park and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, June 3 at 11:15 am, Ryan Marshall Edwards, 20, of Valley Lee was arrested by Tpr. W. Jefferson on an outstanding Circuit Court Bench Warrant (T3-13977) for Failing to Appear on May 29, 2009. The original charges are three counts of Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance with Intent to Distribute. Mr. Edwards was served at the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he is being held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, June 3 at 12:12 pm, Francis Matthew Carter, 44, of Lexington Park was arrested by TFC F. Dolinger on a Grand Jury Indictment (T3-13979) issued by the Circuit Court on June 1, 2009. The original charge was Attempted First Degree Murder. Mr. Carter was served the Indictment at the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was already being detained on these charges.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, June 3 at 12:12 pm, Clyde Joseph Gainer, Jr., 47, of Mechanicsville was arrested by TFC F. Dolinger on a Grand Jury Indictment (T3-13978) issued by the Circuit Court on June 1, 2009. The original charge was Sex Abuse of a Minor. Mr. Carter was served the Indictment at the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was already being detained on these charges.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On Wednesday, June 3 at 3:26 pm, Tpr. J. Hardesty responded to the Cedar Lane Apartments in Leonardtown for the reported Malicious Destruction of Property to a Motor Vehicle. Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant, 67, of Leonardtown who advised unknown suspect(s) broke the passenger side window on his red 1994 Dodge truck. Nothing was reported stolen and the estimated cost to replace the window is $200.00. The investigation continues.
