LA PLATA, Md. (June 4, 2009) - The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

MAN CHARGED WITH VIOLATING PROTECTIVE ORDER/ ASSAULT ON POLICE OFFICER: On June 4 at 4:30 a.m., officers responded to the 12000 block of Willow View Place in Waldorf for the report of a prowler. When officers arrived, they located the suspect, Juan Alexander Felder, 22, of Waldorf. A check revealed Felder was not supposed to be in the area and he was in violation of a protective order. As he was being placed under arrest, Felder pushed one of the officers to the ground and attempted to flee. He was subdued and subsequently charged with violating a protective order, assault and resisting arrest. Officer M. Smith made the arrest.

OFFICERS ARREST BURGLARY SUSPECT: On June 3 at 3:33 p.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to the 15000 block of Potomac River Drive in Cobb Island for the report of a burglary that just occurred. Investigation revealed the suspect entered the victim's house and stole a diamond ring and money. The homeowner saw the suspect and confronted him as he was leaving the house. The suspect fled in a white pick-up truck with a freezer in the bed of the truck. Responding officers observed the truck near Route 257 and Butler Road and initiated a traffic stop. Officers spoke with the occupants and discovered they had been at the house trying to sell steaks and meat. At that point, the occupants were asked to exit the car and upon doing so, the stolen ring and money were observed on the seat. The suspect, Christopher Michael Wright, 29, of Baltimore, was arrested and charged with burglary and theft. Officer J. Rager made the arrest.

BURGLARY: On June 3 between 2 a.m. - 12 noon, unknown suspects broke into the Lone Star Bar at 4300 Hawthorne Road in Indian Head and stole a small amount of money. The scene was processed for evidence. Officer M. Mellott is handling the investigation.

SUSPECT CHARGED WITH FIRST-DEGREE ASSAULT: On June 3 at 1:31 p.m., officers responded to the 11000 block of Teakwood Court in Waldorf for the report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim who was suffering from severe face and head injuries. The victim said she was assaulted by a male friend at his residence in Waldorf. After the assault, the suspect stole the victim's car and fled. The victim was transported to Civista Medical Center where she was treated for her injuries. The suspect, Rashamer Everett, 19, of Waldorf, was located near his residence where he was arrested and charged with first-degree assault and theft. Officer B. Buchanan made the arrest.

BURGLARY: Between June 2 at 10:10 p.m. - June 3 at 11 p.m., unknown suspects broke into Loredo's at 10598 Middleport Lane in White Plains and stole a small amount of money. The scene was processed for evidence. Officer Blake is handling the investigation.
