MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (May 28, 2009) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DRUG ARREST: On Tuesday, May 26 at 9:24 am, Andrew Leo Sewell, 20, of Lexington Park was arrested by Tpr. E. Page for possession of marijuana and possession prescription medications not prescribed to him. Mr. Sewell was operating a silver Oldsmobile Aurora on south bound Three Notch Road in the area of Exploration Drive in Lexington Park when he was stopped for exceeding the posted speed limit. Upon contact with Mr. Sewell, an odor of burnt marijuana was emitting from the vehicle. Mr. Sewell was found to be in possession of a small baggie of marijuana, a partially burnt marijuana cigar, and a half of a Percocet pill. Mr. Sewell was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, May 27 at 11:58 am, Lisa Ann White, 41, of Lexington Park was arrested by Tpr. N. Gresko on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13961) for Failing to Appear in District Court on May 19, 2009. Ms. White turned herself in at the Leonardtown Barrack and was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. The original charges were traffic related.
