TEENS CAUGHT B&E: Due to recent burglaries at the Olde Breton Inn, located on Society Hill in Leonardtown, sheriff's office personnel were conducting surveillance on May 18 at approximately 1:20 a.m. when they observed a 17 year-old male from Hollywood and a 17 year-old male from Leonardtown, forcing entry into the establishment. A foot chase ensued with both suspects and both were apprehended. The juvenile from Hollywood was transported to Prince George's Hospital, for a broken leg he sustained while jumping a ravine and the juvenile from Leonardtown was treated and released at St. Mary's Hospital, for a chest injury he sustained in a fall while running in the woods. BCI detectives are conducting the investigation to determine the juveniles' involvement in past burglaries and charges are pending.

COCAINE ARREST: Vice Narcotics detectives received information that Stephen Dennis Langley Jr., 36, of Clinton, and Leia Andrea Burno, 25, of Brandywine, had entered St. Mary's County with a large amount of cocaine. The cocaine was supposed to be specifically packaged. The vehicle and suspects were described and it was believed that the drugs were destined for the Piney Point area. Detectives located the vehicle and the suspects. Langley was inside the vehicle while the female walked into a drinking establishment, avoiding police. Detectives located the woman inside the bar where she was the only female in the establishment. It was believed she had just exited the ladies' restroom. Detectives conducted a search inside the restroom and located evidence in the trash matching the description provided by the informant. Inside a bag was more than $2,700.00 worth of crack cocaine. $754.00 in cash was also seized from Langley. Langley is on federal probation related to cocaine distribution. Additional charges are pending a State's Attorney's Office review and presentation to the St. Mary's County Grand Jury.
